Jonathan Otto, Founder, RankiN AIs, Arvada, CO
Jonathan Otto has 15 years of experience building websites, SEO and graphic design. He created AceTrace™, the AI Citation Engineering framework RankiN AIs uses.
Why I got into AI search
I realized AI was taking over search and that it's the future, so instead of waiting around, I jumped in full throttle. I set out to learn how these AIs crawl and search, and I spent a lot of time reading Google's patents. Along the way, I realized a search can be zero-click: people get the answer from their AI and never visit your website.
What is AceTrace™?
I created AceTrace™. It's RankiN AIs' AI Citation Engineering framework. Its implementation model is TRACE™, which stands for Trust, Retrieval, Authority, Citations and Evidence.
AceTrace™ follows a business through seven stages:
- Discovered
- Understood
- Retrieved
- Verified
- Trusted
- Cited
- Recommended
AceTrace™ doesn't guarantee a citation or a recommendation, because each AI system controls its own retrieval and answers.
What I work on
- Websites
- SEO
- Graphic design
- AEO, answer engine optimization
- GEO, generative engine optimization
